2″ Aluminum Fan Spacer Fits most older GM/AMC/Ford applications
Fan Spacers and Adapters allow you to remove an original equipment fan clutch from your engine and add a direct drive flex fan. They allow you to adjust your new fan to within 3/4″ to 1″ from the radiator’s surface where a belt is a driven fan works best and centre the fan to the “sweet spot” in the fan shroud opening. Always measure twice and check the clearances in your engine compartment to select the spacer(s) you need accordingly. Multiple spacers may be used, up to a maximum of 3″.
